They are some YouTube videos that you can watch on firmware updates. Just search firmware updates for your specific phantom model, it isn't hard to do yourself just follow the steps in the videos. burtg

I just updated my phantom 3 pro to newest firmware & I forgot to update remote and my go app crashed about 500' out. I manage to get my bird back home, updated remote & flew 2 batteries perfectly without a glitch. burtg

I didn't say he was/wasn't allowed to fly, I just was stating it wasn't smart over a large crowd indoors. If you seen the video from inside the tent there wasn't any room for correction error. burtg

I saw it on Fox news this morning. In their clip that they showed, it didn't show the actual crash, but the phantom class drone flying inside a white reception tent above a crowd dancing. burtg

I'm not sure who seen the news and video of the phantom drone over the dance floor full of people. The drone crashed into the crowd and broke the nose of one lady and a another lady had to have stiches. (They're both suing) Supposedly, the groom was flying the drone. I bet his honeymoon...

I think it suppose to be on. I know I had no satellites available and I exit out of the go app and turned location on and went back to app and the satellites came up. I have the p3pro. burtg

Was your location turned on your cell or tablet? I had that come up on my screen before a flight and then I went back and turned location services on my cell and satellites came up. burtg
