This app is supposed to allow the saving and re-use of a flight so that you can get the same pictures over and over if you want. I know that a flight plan in Litchi can be done to do this but it eliminates the step of having to create the mission beforehand.
Batteries and controller on charge now - hopefully I will not dump it into a tree or ground. I am thinking a wide-open farmer's field might be an ideal area for that first flight to get my wings back working again.
Thanks for the advice!
It has been about a year since I last flew my drone - LIFE™ got in the way. I am in Alberta Canada and the weather is ... colder and hovering right around the 0 degree Celsius range. My P3 - 4K has only been flown maybe a dozen times since purchase.
I have been recharging the batteries to full...
Found the answers I needed in the following thread:
**VIDEO** ANY IDEAS WHY IT WONT HOVER STABLE??
Will try the motor cleaning, and another compass calibration then hover test again.
If that does not do it, then I will replace that one motor.
Looking at the top of my P3 4K I am sure that one of the CCW motors does not seem to be running as fast as the others (it certainly seems to look that way when viewing the props from above). If I take off to hover, the AC starts doing circles around some hidden point almost like the old tether...
I had a big old rc plane that did a straight down nose dive into the ground - basically rebuilt the whole plane from the plans over the winter that year - loved flying it - it just floated almost like a glider rather than a powered craft...
I'm to the north - Castle Downs area. Used to just hop out the back and over to the park / school grounds behind the condo but it is now part of the CFB NFZ so a bit of driving is needed now.
Glad the weather has finally smartened up I can hop on the bike (just a little 50cc but use it for the...
I'm leaning to this one as well - I have no experience dealing direct with DJI (yet) and hope I never have to (then I would be without my favorite toy for weeks!) but from the general feedback on this site I would say @With The Birds might have this one nailed
Shhhhhhhhh! I weaponized mine and that was what I was hunting for! ;):rolleyes:
(edit: expecting a knock on the front door any moment now for that last comment....)
I did not think about that part - so the difference that I personally find between flying with the Go or the Litchi may all be simple perception due to the Litchi app being a cleaner interface (in my opinion).
I will have to take the quad out and fly a couple of batteries worth without the apps...
I was referring to the responsiveness of the quad to the controls from within the two apps and operating systems of the tablets / phones.
In reference to the 'freehand flying' I was referring to non-autonomous flight.
