It's definitely set to land on disconnect. That can be disaster. Go into your settings in the Dji app. (Good idea to have the phantom connected to your controller and everything on as if you're ready for a flight)
Once in settings make sure you're in the section that has a quad copter icon. (See...
In your settings is it set to "hover" on disconnect?
It should definitely be set to "return to home" on disconnect. Disconnection is going to happen. It shouldn't be a big deal. I often fly out to 3-5 km away and it sometimes disconnects. It always starts to return to home if it stays...
Weird... I downloaded the manual when I got my p3p a year ago and it says -10° C (14° F). I've flown it many times at temperatures down to that and the only issues I've had are cold fingers. I'm not going to recommend that anyone does this, because maybe Dji has changed their stance or the newer...
Dji says "you shouldn't fly below -10° C. I followed that rule last winter and had no issues whatsoever... except cold fingers.
Never leave it drone or the batteries at that temperature for long periods of time though. And be sure to keep your batteries in a warm pocket or other place prior to...
I have a similar problem (videos break in 2 pieces at 3.92 gb.)
However, I'm using a 64 gig card and it IS formatted in Ex-fat by my P3P.
Any idea why it's still breaking the files?
I record every second in the sky (unless I'm taking stills). I like to see it all and keep the best parts. My...
Yes, there is. Though it might just be to limit the size of each individual file. I changed that first and it didn't seem to help. Though Hillary Clintoning all my old files worked like a charm.
It's fixed!!! Thanks to all! You were kind of all correct. I shut off "cache videos", then deleted all the old ones and exited the app. I then re-opened it and turned cache videos back on and it works like a charm! I guess ten months of videos is a bit much to cache even though it still had more...
It st
It still has 29 Gigs free out of 64, but I guess I'll have to try deleting the old ones to see if that helps. I'm glad to hear it's only me. That means I should be able to fix it.
My iPad used to always record a 720p version of all my flight videos automatically when ever I was in record mode. I could go into "editor" in the Go App and there was a low quality copy of every video I ever recorded. I never used this of course for my finished video but it was nice to have to...
My P3P tops out at just under 90 km/h in ATTI mode, with a 20 km/h wind or so. You'll get around a 20 km/h boost in ATTI mode, , but make sure you allow an area for coasting until you switch it back to "p" mode, because it will drift with the wind and never actually stop by itself in the mode...
