My bad - I had said they replaced the gimbal/camera, but they actually repaired it (replaced broken parts with new, etc.). Taking it back to them would involve shipping it to them, then having it shipped back. For Phantoms (series), they charge a flat fee of $100, plus parts and return...

On your last sentence, probably, yes. Had to do that to do a compass calibration, and when the aircraft's vertical for the cal, the gimbal swings back & forth somewhat, but not 'wildly'. I'll have to wait till I get enough money to ship it down to them, as my vehicle's not in good enough...

@Johnnydiesel both gimbal and camera were damaged in the crash, Rekt Drones replaced them both. Did a gimbal calibration before flight and still get the sounds pre-and-post landing and the "rumble" in the downloaded video.

Not sure why, but my P3S is making some unusual sounds on startup and also after landing; otherwise it seems to be OK. A friend said it shouldn't be doing that (obviously), so what could be the cause of these sounds? As I said, it seems to fly OK, and takes decent pics, but on videos, I also...

Those specific numbers (compass), or something similar, or close to them?

However, even when I was flying out "in the boondocks", about 30 miles (Chino Valley, AZ) north of here, nowhere near any homes or businesses (or power lines), I was still getting them popping up every few seconds or so, sometimes in rapid succession.

I still get the "Strong Interference" and "Strong WiFi interference" warnings popping up, even when flying nowhere near any power lines, etc. Not sure why. I have my iPhone 11 on Airplane Mode and its Bluetooth turned off; the only thing that's running is its WiFi, connected to the P3S. Any...

Well, I found out I can't use the 3-bladed, CF low noise props with my P3S. Did a test flight (two, actually....one with the stock props and the 2nd with the CF ones). On takeoff, the motors would run faster, then slower, then faster, alternately and almost flipped the P3S over before I got it...

Just got the notification from the USPS site that I should be getting it back sometime today! YAY again! Going to do some low-level test flights myself (probably only around 10' or so), both with the stock props and the 3-bladed, carbon fiber, low-noise ones I have for it.

I'm not even remotely (no pun intended) close to that yet.

About the only gold that's found in this area is really tiny 'flakes', not nuggets, and they're usually small enough that you'd need to be prospecting for several years just to find enough to make a Troy ounce's worth (what gold is measured in).
