I ordered the Phantom 2 Vision yesterday, and went to get the DJI-Vision app
from the Google Play Store for my Vizio Android Tablet VTAB1008 (v3.2.1),
but it says that my device is not acceptable. No reason given.
In the DJI Wiki I find that Android 4 or better is "required", and that
the Samsung Galaxy S3, S4, Note 2, or Note 3 are suitable, and other
similar devices would be accepted. So, maybe I have a "suitable' device?
I try my Kyocera eVent (Android 4.0.4) and ...
it is not acceptable, and no clue to what is accepted.
One member on this forum said that he had similar problems, and
that he was able to download the APK file directly from DJI, and it
worked fine on his "unacceptable" smartphone.
I found the APK to download here: http://m.dji.net/djivision
The latest version, as of 2 Jan 2014, is 1.0.37 for DJI-Vision.
Cheers, Gary
