waypoint yawing?

When using the waypoint feature I am aware that you need to fly the route first and record the waypoints.

When you come to running the selected mission / route can you yaw the phantom without affecting its flight?

So if you are flying from a to b can you yaw the phantom 90 degrees and it will adjust to continue flying toward point b?

So the bird will adjust its motors etc to continue flying straight even if you move the frnt to the side or back etc?
