Made my first flight today in beginner mode, pictures look nice, but video started out smooth then went choppy, using lg phone anderoid 4.4.2 can someone help?

Are you pulling the videos off of the Phantom's SD card? The ones that are cached on your phone are from the live stream and are low quality.

your playback device may not be able to handle the HD video.
also copy the file to the pc rather than play direct from sd.

I've noticed mine do that too. Even after copied to pc. As far as playback device, VLC is totally useless- it totally freezes, but Windows Media Player 12 (with added codec packs) is what I play back with. And suggestions on alternatives?
Is your card fast enough to record the footage without dropping frames?
