Inspire 2 in Like New condition. Looks brand new. Flies perfectly. Takes great pictures and video. Only issue is a common well-known problem where the camera will at times lose communication with the drone. The fix is to manually give the camera mount a slight twist. I have priced this into the asking price as this drone new without camera sells for $3,300. The X4s is not even available for sale any longer, but typically would sell for $600. So that's almost $4,000 new for the total package. Asking price is $2,400.

This is the complete kit with everything you need to fly, except for the mobile device (phone or tablet).

It includes:
*Inspire 2 Drone
*2 Batteries (matched pair) with low charge cycles on them
*2 Batteries that will not hold a charge (I will include them free in case you want them)
*Remote Control
*Propellers (2 full sets - 8 total)
*Charger for batteries and remote
*DJI foam carrying case that fits everything perfectly
*Not included is the tablet or the Marco Polo device that is shown in the pictures. These pictures were all taken during test flight on 8/17/2020. No issues at all.

I just have too many drones in the fleet and I never fly this one. It is a beautiful machine but it is big and heavy. If you need its capabilities then this is the deal for you.

I am first trying for only a local sale in the Philadelphia area. This way you can see it, touch it, and fly it. I want you to know exactly what you are getting and so we both know its condition before the sale. Will only consider shipping if I cannot sell it locally. Also will not part out any components. This sale is for the complete package.

I am a licensed pilot and drone operator. I will be happy to give you a free lesson to cover all the basics of the drone, safe operation, and everything you need to know about flying this drone. If you have flown any DJI drone, this will be familiar to you, but the Inspire 2 is more complex and requires additional training. Best to take the time with me to learn all about it. I will take as much time as necessary so that you are comfortable with all operations.

We can arrange a time and place to meet that is convenient for you. We can go through a full test flight prior to sale, so that you can see it is fully functional. Only after you see that it is fully functional with no issues, will we make the exchange.

CASH ONLY. In-Person meeting ONLY. No PayPal, no shipping, no scams. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Hi PF
I live in the UK so even though I'm interested, you preclude me on the grounds of not showing up in person, fair enough.....

I have both a DJI phantom 3 pro and a Mavic 2 pro, and you state that you have a fleet of drones, I would really like to know
what other drones you use for your business, if you do not use the Inspire 2, and why..?

Regards
Waylander

Hello Waylander,

The UK would even be more difficult than shipping in the USA due to freight charges, customs, duties, etc... With an itme like a drone (and especially an Inspire) I just think it is better for both buyer and seller to test in person.

Most of my fleet is shown in my signature but include Spark, Mavic Air, P3P, P4, P4P, P4P+, M2Z, and I2. Now that I look over all of them, I may need to put a few more up for sale.

The reason I do not use the I2 is because I can get the functionality I need from my other drones, without the weight and bulk of the I2. I don't do any cinematic work, and that is where the I2 would shine, although in that case I would also need to upgrade the camera and lenses.

My P4P by all accounts gives me equal picture quality and better video than the X4s camera. Flight time is about equal. The P4P is still a big drone but nowhere near the size of an I2. I can transport it and other gear in less space than the I2. In fact if absolutely necessary, I can even put it in my backpack carry case. The P4P is my workhorse. It is perfectly suited for creating maps and doing land/roof inspections due to its picture quality and mechanical shutter.

The M2Z is quickly becoming my most used drone because of its portability. The picture and video quality is not as good as either the P4P or I2, but the zoom feature comes in very handy when needed. I can carry it around in a case that may be a quarter the size of the P4P, so it is incredibly easy to take anywhere.

So I guess it comes down to having other smaller and lighter drones that do the job I need. Not that it matters to me, but when I fired it up on Monday, it reminded me also how loud it is compared to the M2Z. It's a wonderful piece of technology and yes it looks incredibly cool but that doesn't mean it gets used as much as the others.

Have you been looking for an I2? I think your P3P is a great drone. That was my first DJI drone and it is a wonderful drone. Your M2P basically can do everything the I2 can do with a little deficit in the camera department. The I2 would still give you better pictures and video, but not by much.

Finally the feature of the I2 that none of the lower end drones can match is the independent camera control without legs or props in the way. Great feature but just not one I ever really need or use.

Hi PhantomFandom
Many thanks for your insightful reply, I think my main reason for looking at an Inspire 2 was the fact that the gimble can yaw more or less 360 degrees, so I assume that the gimble is very smooth during yaw manoeuvres, no matter what settings I try on the P3P or the mavic 2 I cant get that butter smooth pan that you see from high end drones like the I2.

Cheers Waylander

You're welcome.

Yes there is definitely a difference between rotating the camera and yawing the entire aircraft. Using tripod mode on the fixed-camera drones does help. Also many times, flying in ATTI mode makes movements smoother since the drone does not come to an abrupt stop when letting go of the sticks. It's shame that ATTI mode is not an easy to use switch on the Mavic series.

Beautiful machine. Would love to own but my P4P is enough. I have friends that bought used inspire 1’s, just for load carrying ability. Crazy fishermen. Like me ?.
Good luck. Great deal

Thank you. The P4P is a great drone. You can't go wrong with that one. Enjoy the fishing!

Thank you to everyone who expressed interest and wanted this shipped to them. I did find a local buyer and the I2 is now in the hands of its new owner. I hope it is enjoyed and used productively for many years to come.
