Protecting propeller mounts, Top tip.

I take no credit for this idea, I saw it elsewhere and thought it was a simple and perfect solution to protect those vulnerable and hard to source white plastic propeller mounts.
It'll cost you a spare set of blades, or maybe some old damaged ones. Trimmed and sanded. Job done.

Fit the hubs as you would the blades, safe, secure and unobtrusive

I just ordered the nylon or rubber "caps" that were like $7 total off eBay, so if you don't have used props yet (I don't, I have 10 new ones) it's cheaper and, they cover the intakes from dirt or debris and moisture

Go to you local hardware store like ACE and buy four rubber ends for crutches and chair legs. Ask the helpful hardware man he will know! They come in all sizes. white and black. Get the right size and they will slide down over the top of the motor to help protect it and any pack you place it in.
