Pix4d....???....Civil3d

So I'm starting to find that civil3d is NOT the program i want to edit my point cloud in. I am using Pix4d to process my photos and create my .las file and have had pretty good results from that but the data needs cleaned up, which is to be expected. What programs do you all use Before C3d but after Pix4d? Or do you make these changes to the point clouds in pix4d itself?

I downloaded a trial of Recap Pro and was able to trim the point cloud up very easily but im not experienced enough with the software to know what its limitations are. So again, what do you all use?

What kinds of cleanup are you attempting to do? Are you looking to make a DTM or just get rid of errant points? We have several programs for different types of point cloud processing, so trying to recommend the best one for your purposes.
