Phantom 3 Shells from Taobao

So my phantom 3 standard fell out the sky roughly half a year ago. It seems almost all the damage was to the shell and not any mechanical parts. I'm now ready to try and put it back into action, having left it lying in my apartment for all this time.

I'm looking at these cheap shells on Taobao: [Factory] big xinjiang dji phantom 3 elf 3 standard edition standard p3s shell casing accessories

Are they of good quality? Can they be trusted? Has anyone bought one?


Also another question - when replacing a shell, is there anything in particular I need to look out for or pay attention to? Are there specific screws where I need to apply adhesives to give good strength to the bonds? Anything of that sort.

Your biggest issue might be butchering connectors. Ifixit has a good instructional article explaining how to tackle the various connector types.
