Is anyone using the nazam v2 assistant software with the pv2 (I assume it might be different from the version DJI gives us)? There are other settings that can be made with that software I guess, such as height and distance from home limits, etc.

Don't do it - it may just refuse to connect, or it may brick your aircraft. Only ever connect the appropriate Assistant software to your aircraft.
Although we have a NAZA in the Vision it has not been confirmed if it's a Vision-unique bit of hardware or a standard NAZA that's being reined in by the firmware. Either way you risk BSH* by using anything other than the software downloaded from the Vision section of the DJI website.
*Bad Stuff Happening - not to mention no warranty fix if you do brick it by using the wrong updater.
