I use a rifle to trim the trees at my cabin. Works well for the ones I can't reach. Maybe try that.

I did, but by then I had my first Phantom. I only used the old one once or twice; once to see if it still worked, which it did, and the second time to try to sell it to a friend, who (after seeing the Phantom) wasn't interested in it.

Ah, well that's how it goes. (Can't blame your friend of course.) I just gave the 'replacement' Syma to a friend who's interested in learning to fly. The first Syma is still in the tree...though we're forecast to have some windy weather over the next couple of days - gusts as high as 40 knots - so she may come down.
