When I power up the p3a the internal card reader keeps trying to read the card after the green led turns solid. Card in or out. Is this normal for the p3a as my p3p does not do this. Since this started i cannot connect to the aircraft.

You wouldn't by chance have left a firmware .bin file on the card would you? Otherwise try re-formatting with PC.

I also have a strong magnetic field interference with the p3a, but not with my p3p side by side

P3A will read the card to check if card is present

It will execute the bin file if present to check if battery FW needs to be updated

It will start installing the FW if the bin file has later version of FW that what’s already installed on P3A

It will turn the led red if it doesn’t find the sd card.

I updated my P3A birds and controllers to the latest, and plugged all my batteries in with the bin still on the card. Do the 3 red flashes on the camera led signify that it has updated the battery FW?

It shows correct FW and just for a second as it powers up it shows ready to fly then goes to magnetic field interference.
The internal reader keeps trying to read whether the card is in are out. Continuous. My p3p only purrs after start up.

I took the compass from my P3P and put it in the P3A. Everything working perfect now in the A but the P is down now.. ordered new compass.
Thanks everybody.
