Hey guys,
Just wanted to share a little project I completed recently. I attached a temp/altitude sensor to my drone and then logged data to an sd card/arduino during flight. I also used Airdata to obtain wind data. In the video I show how I used Matlab to parse this data post flight and create skew-t charts, hodographs and such for forecasting tornadoes. Really cool stuff, especially if you are a weather nerd! Drones are a unique advancement that could help pave the way in mesoscale forecasting and realtime data collection for severe weather.

I've also included links to the code in the youtube video description if you are interested in duplicating such a project.
Thanks for checking it out!
