What is the purpose of being able to draw guides on the map if you cant hit go and have it fly them
seem strange to have the drawing icon but it does nothing but draw a line on map

I was curious of this as well... I thought maybe it was a way to limit flight, but that doesn't seem to be the case. Is it just a helper so that you can "draw" your route and try following it?

yep, like a manual groundstation or you could say draw around an area if you'd like to stay within it.

Seems so crude compared to ground station waypoints... I hope the guys who did the "Vision Plus" app on Android migrate over to the P3/Inspire. That app is phenomenal and would be very welcome by P3 owners I suspect to get those features back!
