Enhance the range of the Phantom

Hi friends,
I want to start with FPV, but I'm worried about the range of the Phantom. Did anyone put different antennas in RX and TX to enhance the range ? If so, what antennas exactly ? Thx. Phil

I think your much more likely to lose fpv reception well before you lose range with the phantom stock radio. You can always change to another radio and tx but I have flown to 1km using stock radio which is enough for most fpv setups.

FYI. My Immersion 600mw board will go way past my stock radio..
