dji phantom 2 vision camera poor vision

hi all
i have a phantom 2 vision with the egg shape camera
when i record video or take still image pictures they
are sharp and clear.
but the image viewed on the screen on an ipad / android phone / android hudle
is very blurry and grainy
any ideas as why this is?? or is this normal on this type of camera set up
my vision plus and p3 advanced are not like this on the devices i used

The video connection is via wifi...so distance and extraneous noise can disturb the video signal. Also, the wifi transmit circuitry on the P2's has had problems, sometimes disappearing altogether. There are places to get the wifi module repaired/replaced if you need to. But as long as you can frame up the image and the controls work, I wouldn't mess with it.

go into settings and choose preview quality and change it to 640x480 30fps

this is normal all my phantom 2 visions do it
the phantom 2 vision plus is slightly better
the problem is as you say a grainy image on the screen, but as long as your play back images
are clear and ok for video editing i would no worry
my phantom 3 advanced is better because it uses light bridge.. a better connection to the ipad (ie no wi-fi extender)

Beats me, too. Reminds me of my computer. I bought it in 1978...a brand spankin new DX2 88 processor running DOS 3.0 and my Photoshop images just don't look right to me. Everything I load just looks like a blank screen with a little green blinking cursor. Had it checked out and they said it was working as it should. My wife's new Intel i7 with 64GB Ram never balks at anything she wants to do. Maybe you and I just bought lemons. I'm totally stumped with what could be the problem with your P2 . Sure wish I could help. Maybe you could try swapping it for a P1?
