DJI battery charger

So out of curiosity I noticed there is a micro usb port on the 3 battery charger. Does the charger need updates or is that for the batteries. Has anyone used it? Thanks

Periodically check their website. Doubt there will be any updates for this one. If its to resolve a safety issue you will probably get an email.
