I am delighted to announce that I have now finished my ‘Zenmuse Ready’ version of my FPV Custom Undertray. The prototype print arrived today and everything checked out perfectly so I have put it on my Shapeways shop: http://www.shapeways.com/shops/d3wey
Anyone who isn't familiar with my other designs they can see them here: viewtopic.php?f=9&t=2082
It uses the same mounting system of 25mm Hex spacers as my previous one and the same TX holder (compatible with Fatshark and Immersion TX’s).
The non Zenmuse undertray allowed for a dual battery setup. One in the shell, one under the belly. Of course the Zenmuse takes up most of the room.... To combat the lack of room I added a ‘table’ behind the TX holder that is capable of taking my Battery Cage’s.
Anyway... pictures say a thousand words so here it is:
Above: Full layout. This includes the Fatshark power filter housing and the smaller Battery cage.
Weight: 1297g with 2 x 2200mah, Zenmuse, Hero3 and Wiring.
In flight I got 10 mins with 2 well used 2200mah today. This was with stock props (killed my CF ones when i crashed my F450 the other week). Pics are here:
I am still uploading the ‘how it fits’ video (slow *** broadband!). I also did a test with the dual battery earlier today (again video is coming soon).
I wanted to get in on here as soon as possible purely due to the Shapeways Xmas deadline being 16th December for items under 20cm (this is about 18cm).
I also have the newer 4s version of the Fatshark Filter housing, and a finalised GTU10 holder. All online by the end of the evening.
