Another close call at 2500+ feet

There does appear to be some question on the date this was shot as a resident of the island that lives withing a couple miles indicated that the fields seen in the video do not look like they do in the video and therefore the video maybe somewhat older.

The image distortion from the exhaust gases is quite clear.

In this image it is, in fact you can see the distortion from the starboard side engines as well.

Bottom line is this does look more likely to be real than fake and if fake it's a world class fake.

I also measured the runway length using Google Earth and I get a bit over 1.6 miles (2.6km) not counting the runway extension at the NW end. That would be a bit shorter than an A-380 pilot might prefer, but certainly long enough.

Yes, I've seen videos of Mavic's flying at over 23,000 ft...

How is that even remotely possible? No way a single battery on a Mavic could get that far and back before crapping out.
I do not believe this one at all.
Need to apply some common sense here.

Unless they launched from a mountain at 17,000’ or better to start...
