After a week of not being able to fly due to either rain or winds it was finally calm.I was so excited to once again get in the sky.It was getting almost dark but I figured I had enough time left and it was clear and she flew great but still.About a 1/4 mile out still flying great but I had this feeling, don't know why but I did,so I was having fun.Time to bring it home but something just wasn't right and I didn't notice intil I landed and looked. The S1 switch was in the middle position  and I don't or have never used that setting before !.My wife carried the controller for me and I guess the way she carried it somehow the S1 got flipped. It was my fault for not checking the switch positions before turning everything on so accidents and fly-aways do happen on operator errors. My mistake because I was in a hurry and I can see how they happen but I am happy I still have a drone to fly another day.

Did you not notice the different Display Title on GO or Litchi ?

But as long as you have GPS sats - the RTH will still work ... what is not working is GPS to help stabilise hover and flight path ... you will wander with wind etc.

I have a video I am processing showing flying in / out of trees and then ATTI in open area ... my YT channel is 'solentlifeuk' ... it will be uploaded soon.

I was in Go and it was totally my fault for being in a dang hurry.I can see how some do have problems and don't realize it and i'm glad I knew something wasn't quite right and was cautious but just wasn't sure at the time.I know I messed up but at least I still have a drone to fly and yes,I had 10 bars of GPS and the switch was in the middle but with great GPS who knows ...

I was talking to a friend last night and he said same thing happened to his son one time and he couldn't figure out what was wrong. The only thing different was he was flying in wind and had a hard time controlling it as it wanted to drift. He is a great pilot and had no trouble flying it.We all have our moments it's just some are too ashamed to admit they made a stupid mistake while others don't mind sharing to help others so maybe they DON'T make these blunders or mistakes.
