On the promontory of Senhora da Rocha, is located the Chapel of Senhora da Rocha.
According to historical sources, the Chapel found itself surrounded by an ancient fortress (century. XV) protecting populations and the coast of the frequent attacks of pirates disappeared during the 1755 earthquake.
In 1963, this monument of Porches parish was classified as a Public Interest, with the name "Fort and Chapel of Nossa Senhora da Rocha".
