On October 24th we had a terrible wind and rain storm that also brought some snow just West of us. On the morning of the 25th we went for a drive to charge up our electronics, as our power was still out, and have some breakfast at BK. We saw lots of vehicles with snow on them so took a short drive West to the Al Quaal Recreation area on Teal Lake, between Negaunee and Ishpeming. The highest accumulation seemed to be just under an inch and the cold weather seems like it is here to stay, according to the long term forecast...the birds know it and are flocking South to warmer climates.
