screen glare

Sorry if someone has written this thread before but I got tired of looking. So I bought the controller without the built-in screen. Between it being hard to see the phone screen and it occasionally falling out of cradle, I regret that choice. So gurus, what is a inexpensive tablet that will do...

my son was complaining that he it was very difficult to see his phone 6s plus screen while flying in bright sunlight. I have a Magmod snoot and thought it might work for this purpose. He said it worked great so I thought I would pass it on...
