phantom 4 gimbal disconnected

H there all, I have a phantom 4 pro ver 2 and the gimbal is all wobbly and can not communicate with the controller (The DJI one). DJI says to send it in for a repair but I'm loathe to do that since there's no visible damage (I didn't crash it) and the camera still works. Anyone else had the...

2 weeks old ....never crashed or even had a hard landing.....popped a battery in one day and screen was black and said disconnected....and here i am.....any info on how to fix
