Yes I should have said in my earlier post thst its Hobby use only. Like everything else in life if you can make money with sonethibg the insurance companies want their cut. Fir hobby use its great !!! Also there is liability for property damage etc.
Thanks to this Forum, I just received my Drone Insurance from State Farm here in Parrish Florida. Stated value of $700 for my Standard with property damage and liability as well. Great deal. AND NO deductible. thanks to the forum for putting me on to this great option.
I am going to have to get one. Twice now I have had the bird up and in the process of landing when I was interrupted by onlookers. Its nice to have conversations with the curious but not during landing in a heavily obstructed area. I know I shouldn't land in a heavily obstructed area, but...
So being a wanna be pilot, is it recommended that I leave my cell phone in the car or someplace and not near the controller? Can normal residential power lines cause the same issue. Pretty hard to Not fly around those these days.
I justcexperienced the same issue. In the alerts section I have maybe 7 alerts saying the same thing. Was in a very large field with no towers etc. onlt residential power lines behind me. Could my cell phone on my belt cause this??
