As I stated, I never have any problems when I’m using my non GPS iPad. Out of interest how does the function of setting home position to the controller position work? Surely it reads the controller device’s GPS. If the controllers position gets wonky could it cause problems with the drone...
It only seems to happen when I use my iPhone. If I use my non-cellular iPad I’m fairly sure it’s been fine. And I know that my iPhone has real GPS problems. So I guess the transmitter gets it’s GPS position from the device attached to it. But why would that affect the drone?
https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01DNAWSY4/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_AfrjBb74Z2EXD I got the 50cm version of this. It’s been fine so far. If it breaks it’ll go back to Amazon. Not the kind of thing I spend too long researching...
My new P4P has similar issues. It will often stay in ATTI mode for a little while until it settles down and relinks to GPS, or I land and take off again. It seems to loose GPS lock when I perform a rapid pan or a fast AC movement to reframe a shot/redo a move.

They can increase the PLI amount on an adhoc basis if my client requires it.
Also, they refunded the £44.80 training cover off my yearly cost.

You are in a nice rural part of the world, however I guess it's more farmland than moorland...
Perhaps flying at the coast would be best, or...

I've just had an apology email from Drones4Less offering me £30 of my next purchase using the code SAVE30. Hardly a code unique to me is it?! The weird thing is that I have never bought anything from them before, and I don't have an account with them. Muppets.
