Random In-Flight Switches to from 'P' Mode to 'Atti' Mode...

As I stated, I never have any problems when I’m using my non GPS iPad. Out of interest how does the function of setting home position to the controller position work? Surely it reads the controller device’s GPS. If the controllers position gets wonky could it cause problems with the drone...

Random In-Flight Switches to from 'P' Mode to 'Atti' Mode...

It only seems to happen when I use my iPhone. If I use my non-cellular iPad I’m fairly sure it’s been fine. And I know that my iPhone has real GPS problems. So I guess the transmitter gets it’s GPS position from the device attached to it. But why would that affect the drone?

https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01DNAWSY4/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_AfrjBb74Z2EXD I got the 50cm version of this. It’s been fine so far. If it breaks it’ll go back to Amazon. Not the kind of thing I spend too long researching...

Random In-Flight Switches to from 'P' Mode to 'Atti' Mode...

My new P4P has similar issues. It will often stay in ATTI mode for a little while until it settles down and relinks to GPS, or I land and take off again. It seems to loose GPS lock when I perform a rapid pan or a fast AC movement to reframe a shot/redo a move.

    Tiny world export.

Here's a pano I shot yesterday: Kuula | Share 360/VR photos and build virtual tours! I used DJI Media Maker to create the master image. Then used Photoshop to increase the canvas to a 2:1 ratio and added the sky. I realise that the images created by media maker are no good for spherical views...

    UK drone insurance?

Flock supply a 12 month cover note. On the recommendation of the CAA I got my coverdrone policy to start one week after applying for my PfCO so there’s some overlap.

    UK drone insurance?

I've got basic commercial insurance with Coverdrone. 1m PLI for £285.60 using a P4P. They can increase the PLI amount on an adhoc basis if my client requires it. Also, they refunded the £44.80 training cover off my yearly cost.

    Flying drones in uk

I too am surprised by the question, to be honest most people are probably flying without permission. You only have to look on YouTube to see that! Ha. You are in a nice rural part of the world, however I guess it's more farmland than moorland... Perhaps flying at the coast would be best, or...

Be Warned: www.dronesforless.co.uk (especially if buying from the U.K.)

I've just had an apology email from Drones4Less offering me £30 of my next purchase using the code SAVE30. Hardly a code unique to me is it?! The weird thing is that I have never bought anything from them before, and I don't have an account with them. Muppets.
