When you save the mission on your PC, the file syncs to Litchi. Then when you are ready to fly the mission, the data file uploads to the AC.

Be careful with the "Reverse" option to end the mission. You have to stop the mission manually for it to make the AC re-trace its waypoints. If you don't, it will just hover until it runs low on power and will then likely land. So don't use it if you plan to loose connection during a mission or...

Nice. What Phantom do you have? Did you loose signal? Is that Shasta in the distance?

I just realized that maybe the waypoint elevation has to be set relative to the starting elevation. If the tree is 105 feet below my start, then if I want the camera to look at a point 5 feet off the ground by that waypoint, then I need to set the waypoint elevation at -100' ?

In the test Mission I am trying to run, I am experiencing an issue with a Litchi POI. Mission Hub - Litchi I want to fly to a big dead tree, then inspect it from all sides. I set the waypoints to look at the tree, and that works fine; the gimbal angle sets to 30 degrees, but its not angled down...

Triple the distance compared to stock sounds about what I found on my P3 Standard. You do have to maintain a tight beam though.

I am a fairly new pilot of my P3 standard- maybe 4 months now. I have been using Litchi for about a month now and I really like it- especially the ease of designing waypoint missions, and using Google Earth to maintain altitude etc. Very useful. I do seem to have pretty bad over-exposure...

Set up the waypoints on your PC or laptop using Mission Hub Mission Hub - Litchi If your litchi equipped iphone is on, the waypoints will be synced to oit when when you save the file.

I can confirm the 1.4 ITELITE works well with the standard. I was getting 1,800 feet stock. It will do 5,000 comfortably, and I had it to 8,000 over the SF Bay once when it disconnected and came back.

Right. This is now what I understand. By the way, I find Litchi will indeed unexpectedly crash on occasion. It starts up again easily enough though. I am working on some way point missions on the Mission Hub. I'll start simple, and stay well within LOS to start. Thanks!
