No, it's fine... I never said I thought my idea was moral, I know it's not. But when DJI sees the damage and says it's still ok, that clears any moral ambiguity since they are saying it's alright.
Your crash sounds a lot worse then mine. My crash was only cosmetic, so DJI still accepted me into DJI Care. No stealing there, since they know what happened and decided to still let me buy the DJI Care...
Right, but this isn't fraud because DJI knows about the damage. If I had lied then you would be right, but since they know about my crash now and are still going to cover me, it's not fraud.
I don't think you've read my posts, but DJI knows I crashed into the tree, and they are still covering me. I'm not deceiving them because they know I crashed the drone and they consider the existing damage too small to warrant voiding the DJI care. No crime here, DJI is fully aware of the...
My way of looking at things is that taking a loss now is worthwhile in the long run. People here keep making analogies to car insurance, but this isn't like that at all. This is more like an extended warranty you buy from the dealership. Except this one covers accidental damage. But it's DJI...

Actually, forget all that math from before, this sums it up much more eloquently:
"The customer is always right"
Even with it being my mistake, they should still help me out. It will pay for itself.
Thank you. I would have started out cheap with a Phantom 3 or something, but the 4 Pro has a ton of anti-crash tech so I thought it would be best. It's too bad that it doesn't work at night. It's also unfortunate that the reading in the app for how high you're flying is so inaccurate, it said I...
