    DJI Goggles vs Avegant Glyph

I can agree with msinger that the glyph has to be positioned just right on your nose. With the video quality did you carry this out using a P4 with the HDMI out which is what I have and NOT a Mavic which can be used in 1080p for short distance flying. I have tried the Headplays but the Glyph...

    DJI Goggles vs Avegant Glyph

Hi All, I have the Avegant Glyph video headset which I find solves many problems for FPV which has superb video quality and has the ability to allow you to look up for LOS and down to your RC controller and ahead for perfect FPV picture with no pixelation. The only slight negative is the smaller...

    Avegent Glyph user experiance

The only real solution other than the tablet IS to get a HDMI output drone. The P3S is ok but the P4 is way better on all fronts especially with the lightbridge tech it uses.

Best Go app for Avegant Glyph

I have the older version too 1.6.0 and have wanted to update BUT, everytime I decide to do so there is always a problem with the update - now especially with the Near maps replacing Google maps. Could you please outline the benefits using the Glyph with the current version of Go as compared to...

    Avegent Glyph user experiance

My feelings entirely, the Glyph is the best there is at this moment in time, one can only hope they can address the things you mentioned and become "Perfect". I am very surprised that DJI did not adopt these.

Need Advise - Best Option for FPV Goggles

Yep, certainly not one of those stores here in Perth Australia and dont think one in the whole of Auz. No problem with lag on the Glyphs and unlike the Moons I can LOS & look at my RC unit and around. As i said, need user (with DJI Drone) to see how it goes.

Need Advise - Best Option for FPV Goggles

Looks good but I wonder if you can plug in the RC for a P4 which is 720p. Any users out there to confirm it will work ok and still give the big screen. To me, I have the Glyph, the only very slight downfall is the FOV. BUT $800 is quite a price to pay.

Need Advise - Best Option for FPV Goggles

I had a lot of trouble getting them to focus,,, ended up getting the RHO lens which did help but still not completely right and the constant misting up was a real pain probably because of the sweaty heat we get here in Western Australia, still not as bad as Queensland. Good luck with them and...

Need Advise - Best Option for FPV Goggles

Oh, and I missed with the Glyph that no one can creep up on you - you know whats going on around you at all times.

Need Advise - Best Option for FPV Goggles

Good luck on that decision because I had the Headplays and just hated them, 1, Big cumbersome blob on my head and not comfortable, mists up and in hot weather, horrible, 2, Could not see or know what was going on around me, 3, Whilst the picture quality was ok,,, IF you can get them to focus to...

Need Advise - Best Option for FPV Goggles

Hi Bart, Glad it is all working good for you. As I said, the Glyph are the best FPV goggles out there and the customer service is the best there is from my experience. Previously I tried the Fat Shark but settled on the Headplay as they were better graphically,,, BUT it was a revelation when I...

Need Advise - Best Option for FPV Goggles

Have been away so sorry for lack of response, You cannot plug the HDMI into the aircraft - no HDMI. Yep, I am retired so apart from High End Audio this is a great and interesting pastime. John

Need Advise - Best Option for FPV Goggles

Hi Big Hammer, When changing the module be very careful with the 3 circuit strips (dont forget to lift the clips holding them in) when taking out of holders and especially when inserting into new module, make sure they are pushed fully home and locked back in. You need to go into the Go app and...

Need Advise - Best Option for FPV Goggles

I have the IPAD air 2 and I live in Australia (much strong sun) and unless I chuck a towel or something over my head and RC it is pretty useless for flying using the screen. The playback of your flying from the IPAD would be in 720p I believe ( Actually, maybe even less) and if your SD card is...

Need Advise - Best Option for FPV Goggles

Yep, I too had the Headplays WITH the RHO lens but when I got my Glyph it was a revelation - No bulky things stuck on my head and I know whats going on around me, I can now look up for LOS and look down to control my RC and look ahead for FPV. The image is absolutely pin sharp - better than my...
