    Custom in-drone Battery Charging Development

Hi StricklySpeaking.. late post/question here. Why don't you must use Skysense? and have you made any progress on your progress? thanks.

is there a way to start a waypoint mission from Maryland that takes place (starts and ends) in New York state?

Meta4, i think some of the first part of this post got cut off. Anyway, we don't know what we don't know which is why I asked this question. Litchi works with the DJI platform, so I didn't know if someone out there had a method to control a controller from hundreds of miles away (via cell...

is there a way to start a waypoint mission from Maryland that takes place (starts and ends) in New York state?

Andy9, Interesting comment , I thought questions and information sharing was one of the purposes of this forum... I have learned many things on UAV forums which were or were not possible. In fact, BIGAl07 mentioned a solution above, the problem is legality.

David, BIGAl07, thanks for the solutions. Pls excuse my ignorance here, but what I'm hearing is that a mission and it's waypoints, etc. can only be created from a GE map, not from a video/photo taken during a mission run. Also, Skymonkey raises another question for me. If I am 107 certified...

Thanks David. I want to have senior mgmt in Md see what the daily/weekly status is of a project in NY, but the local PM's in NY don't know how to operate a drone other than to turn it off / on. so I think what you are saying is that I can fly a mission over the site (with an old map) and map my...

is there a way to start a waypoint mission from Maryland that takes place (starts and ends) in New York state?

Ha.. i actually thought of the terrorist thing after i posted it.. no, i am just trying to find a way for upper management to check on local project management progress at a construction site far away vs having to go there, or teach the local PMs how to fly/record from drones. Rootman, the...

is there a way to start a waypoint mission from Maryland that takes place (starts and ends) in New York state?

I know the mission will continue without connectivity to my controller, but beyond that, does the controller have to be there to start/end it? thanks

Thanks Rod and Fly Dawg. so there is no way to use a different "map" to program the mission from, i.e. fly a manual route with current mapping state, save the resulting picture/video as a new "map" and program future missions from this new "map". sounds like i would have to take GE as it is...

Hi all, I have not used Litchi yet, but understand I can draw out my waypoint mission using a map vs first flying the route (like DJI Go APP). My question is, what map will i be using? If it's google earth/maps/bing, etc., the map may be years old and certainly will not have daily/weekly...

Automatic sequence of various steps in Go app

Thanks BillCaf, my statement should have said: " After a certain amount of time (X minutes or hours), autonomously initiate the mission again and so forth.

Automatic sequence of various steps in Go app

This is the answer as far as Litchi support is concerned: "This is not something you can automate using Litchi. Starting a mission has to be done manually. Kind Regards, Litchi" Thanks all...

Automatic sequence of various steps in Go app

Yes, battery life is a concern and will have to be resolved (working on that), but my missions won't be more than 4 minutes each for now. For this stage of "the project", i'm focusing on finding something (Litchi?) that can automatically restart a mission after X minutes. thanks again.
