I noticed a crack on my P3A after only 2 months, under ten flights. DJI were brilliant sent it off to them and had it back in under 2 weeks. Came back with a whole new shell top and bottom, they actually replaced it with a P3P shell so now have a P3P badge on my P3A but not complaining. I've...
Well after just over a week I've had my P3A returned from repair. I think they basically removed my gimbal and stuck it on a new P3P shell. Happy now it's back.

Thanks for the advise peeps. I've contacted the seller as they cover it for a year, though pretty sure they just send it off to DJI themselves. Don't want to risk it becoming a bigger problem months down the line.
Appreciate all of your input. I don't mind it being away for 2 weeks because the...
Also worried that if I just buy arm supports it'll transfer the stress to another part of the motor arm.

I've only had it since June with under 10 flights. I'll probably contact the seller and go down the warranty route. Dam it.

I've just been giving my phantom a once over and noticed that one arm has small a hairline crack. Is this going to keep getting worse?
Would you advise to get some supports or is it worthy of a warranty claim?
Don't want to go through the faff of sending it back if it can be easily remedied by...
I'm pretty new to premier pro myself but I usually film in 2.7k and convert down to YouTube 1080p when exporting, seems to work pretty well.

Video quality is great (from the few seconds before your sand dip). What settings did you use there? Looks pretty sunny.

No I only joined the forum very recently but had my phantom now for a few months. I've flown it as much as I can (weather permitting in the UK). It was a bit challenging tbh and do need more practice, especially FPV only flight when the phantom is not in sight due to obstructions etc...live and...
Im glad you said that, I was wondering if that was the case because when I realised it was way to close to the bushes on the right side of the water I did pull to the left but it just didn't want to pull away.

Yes I have disabled most apps, some you're unable to unfortunately. There will be some pesky app in the background causing the lag, or it'll just be the tablet not having enough power to process it all. Thanks for the advice. [emoji106]

Yes luckily, the bushes were soft so nothing hard to break the props or motors, just a bit of green to wipe off the body that was all. Flew it after testing the motors and all was fine. Just so happy it didnt hit the water.

Well I started recording once I'd positioned the drone above the water. I'm using a samsung galaxy tab 4 it seems to be a bit laggy on the video feed. I need to invest in something better......not to mention improve on my FPV piloting skills. [emoji15]

Crashed trying to get a shot upstream of a water fall, was using my tablet screen to navigate but started to lag and ended up crashing into a bush suspended above water. Needless to say I filled my pants.
Saved ok though and will never make the same mistake again.
