Yes, that is exactly what it is. So how do I get the NAZA powering back on? I assume this was caused from the failed firmware upgrade and now it has either corrupt firmware or is some kind of limbo stage. What are my options here to get back to a stable firmware?
Now I think I'm really screwed. So now when I power on, all it does is that annoying beep and that's it's. So it's no longer functional. Is there any way I can reset it so the annoying beep goes away and so I can update the firmware?
So I attempted to update to the 3.0 firmware by downloading the Phantom 2 Assistant 3.0 software. When I click to update to 3.0 it starts it's process and then I notice in the lower left windows flashes about USB device unrecognized and shortly after that the phantom starts a very annoying...
Re: Does Phantom 2 already have needed Flight Control system
Thanks Ksc, I was hoping it was going to be that easy and sounds like it is. What you suggest using for a power supply for the TX?
Re: Does Phantom 2 already have needed Flight Control system
Thanks ianwood. So the Phantom 2 does have it's own flight control system then. Hopefully someone comes out with some good instructions on hooking it directly to the Phantom 2.
So I have just recently got my Phantom 2 and I also purchased 2.4G Bluetooth Datalink kit so I can do the waypoint flights with the Phantom. I guess were still waiting on a firmware upgrade for the Phantom 2 to do this, correct? Secondly, does the Phantom 2 already have needed flight control...
Is anyone aware or using software that could mosaic the still images collected from a Go Pro 3 when the imagery is collected with the lenses pointed straight down? I imagine it may be a little tough if there is lots of overlap. Just wondering if anyone on here is doing this and what software...
Cool idea on the Helipad with a rubbermaid tub. I don't have anything purchased, I'm still in pre-buy mode. Now I'm trying decide on whether to go with the Vision or the Phantom 2 + GP3. I'm mostly interested in the still images with lens pointed down.
Cool, didn't realize that. So you can do that both with the Vision camera as well as a GP Hero3? Now I'm wondering which camera is better for still images, any idea?
Thanks for the reply and great information havasuphoto. So the Gimbal mount bundled with the Phantom 2 can be easily adjusted to point straight down? Great. So when you do this, is there issues with landing it and the lenses hitting the ground first and thus not allowing proper landing? Or...
My main intent is to get the DJI Phantom Vision for capturing still images from a directly down perspective vs. the more typical bird-eyes imagery and video. I'm guessing the integrated camera in the Vision does not make this possible? It only points the lens mostly forward vs. straight down...
Seems like all discussion of the Phantom is around video collection in more of a bird's eye view. Is it possible to collect video and possibly even still images from a top-down view (point camera directly down) rather than bird's eye view? If so, does anything special need to be done to...
