    flying in the desert

I've hit 152.6f/67c on a flight here in the Phoenix area. No ill effects, but I'm not wanting to push it too much beyond that.

Latest Firmware Update for P4P - Apr 12

Good info, thanks for that. That pano stuff has been a problem for quite a while now. Hopefully they get it sorted out at some point.

Latest Firmware Update for P4P - Apr 12

Just updated and also update controller also. Just doing some free flying around the house everything looks good. Anyone running through the intelligent modes in Litchi yet and verifying all good there?

    Litchi and Go co-existing

When you all say you are flipping between the apps, do you mean that you shut down one app and open the other one, or are both open and you switch between them in the background? I'm on an iPad Pro and have plenty of firepower to do that, just heard that running both at the same time is a no-no.

Poll - More Often Pilot Error or True Software/Aircraft Error

So, I was curious. On one of my first waypoint missions with Litchi had what at the time appeared to be a fly away. Basically, as the AC was heading to the last waypoint, it did a 180 turn and started flying away to I don't know where. In that moment, it really freaked me out. Full Story -...

Anyone had a flyaway? I need help..

There are some folks on here that are real good at analyzing the logs and helping people pinpoint where it might be. Hopefully you can post that and they can take a look for you. It's out there somewhere, hopefully you can find it.

P4 pro question app for scanning plants

Do a Google search on NDVI software and see if that's what you're looking for. You can do that with a standard RGB camera, but better results with near infrared (NIR).

Anyone had a flyaway? I need help..

That sucks... Personally, I'd be pulling down that flight log and punching in the last GPS location on Google Earth or a GPS unit and seeing if I could find it. Hopefully, you're out in a remote area where there's a chance you find it before someone else does.

    New Apple iPad Pro...

I love my iPad Pro 9.7. Smooth as silk and can actually see it when I'm out in the sun. It's not perfect out in the Arizona sun, but it's workable. Haven't had a glitch or crash on it yet (knocking on wood).

Hello from another new enthusiast in Phoenix, Az

Being in Buckeye (Sundance area) there are a ton of places to fly. I can pretty much walk right down the street and be in the open desert. Just a couple minutes from me is an old Luke AFB auxiliary field that was converted to an R/C field. Not much to see around there, but wide open to fly...

    Question for the Litchi/HealthyDrones Guru's

Well, I forgot to set Litchi to the POI instead of waypoint, but mean to look at doing that. I did run that mission again, and it ran perfect...made sure to keep the fat fingers away from the iPad this time, so I'm pretty well convinced that was the problem/solution. Thanks again to those that...

    Question for the Litchi/HealthyDrones Guru's

Hey guys, good info. On the original mission and how it sits now, that last little scoot back toward the freeway isn't there. Only thing left was the last 500 or so feet to home. That's still how that mission looks. HAS to be the finger on the iPad thing I'm sure. And yes Springs, I will...

    Question for the Litchi/HealthyDrones Guru's

Thanks Rod, that is my assumption also. I was hoping there was something in either healthydrones or Litchi that told me definitively why it went there, but it's not looking like there's anything there. Unfortunately, like I said in the original post, I did not save the mission before I closed...
