So, I was curious. On one of my first waypoint missions with Litchi had what at the time appeared to be a fly away. Basically, as the AC was heading to the last waypoint, it did a 180 turn and started flying away to I don't know where. In that moment, it really freaked me out.

I could have easily called that a fly away. Don't think that's what happened, but I could have gone that route and not blamed it on myself.

So, the part that has me curious. How often do you think it's pilot error vs an actual hardware/software issue? And yes, please feel free to share the stories.

Personally, I think it's pilot error a WHOLE lot more often than anything else.

99%. Not knowing limitations, no systematic steps for how you use waypoints, incomplete knowledge of systems. Those are on the pilot. Would be if he wad flying a Cessna or a Boeing, and is when he flies on a DJI.
