This is making me want to try the folding props to see if they really are as bad as everyone thinks. If I do, I'll definitely spend a few $'s on a balancer before I fly them.
If a seller/retailer is using a processor that refuses to comply with a card companies security rules, they will decline it the minute they find out. DJI is likely using a non-compliant merchant/processor.
I would not report it. To me, that would be like calling the cops every time someone went 5 over the speed limit. I do not think the 333 is even necessary. I don't think a pilot's license is necessary either. So, I don't support the enforcement of those rules.
This is sort of a stab in the dark... Are you running the update from your computer using the usb cable to the P3? I experienced issues with that in the past. Now I always just put the new firmware file on the sd card and do it that way and do not ever to have issues.
