    FAA Remote I.D.

Part of the issue he and many others refer to being that WiFi may not be available is short sighted. Within a few years high speed satellite internet service will allow us to connect from anywhere and I know many farmers and ranchers who use drones without bothering with rules. It would be...

    FAA Remote I.D.

Joe profits from his cattle operation and therefore by rule should not be using a drone to count cows without a pilot license to begin with.

    FAA Remote I.D.

I've not been keeping up with the forum for quite a while so excuse me as I'm not going to read through all the posts to get a full picture of everyone's thoughts or become more thoroughly educated before posting this. I don't think the cost of drone ID or how it will play out has been nailed...

    Mavic 2 pro color settings

I did not correctly read where you already stated it wouldn't be an option in dng,my bad. But to elaborate a little. Why even have a color option if no options actually exist. I think most would say do your best always however as far as editing it seems the end user of photos are cheap skate...

    Mavic 2 pro color settings

My P34K has like 6 or 8 color settings for photos While looking for color options on the Mavic 2 Pro it only shows (none) The vivid setting was nice on the Phantom. Does anyone know if its available on the Mavic 2 Pro? Maybe its another setting I'm missing to get that to appear.

    Depressing first post.

Thanks for clarifying. I do remember something about the pecan groves and agriculture being a trespass but what you posted about being allowed to fly over posted areas is contrary to something I'd previously read. Good to know since. Its funny but more people than most would realize hire drone...

I dont think searching someones yard is trespassing unless its posted. Here in Oklahoma a no trespassing sign has to be posted near the main entrance or it is legal to enter and that applies to flying over it as well. If in fact it were illegal to search a property on foot it would have also...

$1450.00 Mavic Pro 2 is for Rookies

Compared to my P34K the Mavic 2 Pro is a big step up. While the P34K hovers somewhere within a defined area and strays a few feet side to side my new Mavic stays glued in place perfectly. The most notable difference to me is that while the P34K only uses Wi-Fi the Mavics controller while wired...

$1450.00 Mavic Pro 2 is for Rookies

To be fair that's sort of a contradiction in terms (expensive/starter drone)and either way did he not call it a starter drone?

$1450.00 Mavic Pro 2 is for Rookies

Yeah, I think its a marketing thing and agree they waste resources that could be well spent in other areas. Just like cell phones with fingerprint scanners and other gimmicky technology when phones could use other improvements more.

$1450.00 Mavic Pro 2 is for Rookies

Mine arrived and so far it's been a bit of work and still trying to get the firmware to update. My biggest concern at first glance is the micro usb controller charging port. As per my experience with cell phones those type charging ports are prone to becoming dysfunctional. Because of that I'll...
