I just solved the same problem. Tried a new(used) p4p. It wouldn't connect to Assistant 2 for phantom. Tried another p4p that had connected previously and it would not connect. Tried with my wife's computer and still no connection. Finally tried a new USB cable and my problems went away.

I think your replacement 3 in 1 is for a standard phantom 4. Some vendors advertise the standard as a pro.

I've double checked the battery mounting. It seemed to be locked in. The flight data shows the cell voltage, that must be a different input. Thanks for your reply.

I have a P4 P getting battery error. I get it one time only. I looked at the attached flight record and It indicates the Battey is in tolerance. I'm afraid to fly it thinking I will loose it. Any help would be appreciated.

I knew they had to be in the IMU somewhere, but in what part? I'm guessing in the camera body maybe in the pitch ESC.

What module are the gyros in?

I had the same error with a previously good battery. I changed the cord from the RC to the smart phone and the error went away. Will spend more time to verify it was the cord. Update: The cable was not the problem. Still looking>
