There I used to be thinking that real aircraft prop / rotor blades and even engines are tested for bird strikes for type approval. Seems to be a lot of over hyping of the 'damage' a little 1.5kg p3p/p4p could do. Drone or previously mentioned a 5-8KG goose etc.

So what difference does it make if it male or female ?

I believe there's been a 'tightening' up on carriage of Lithium batteries which is going to make it harder to ship. Someones not thought this through (as usual these days for 'management' actions). I wonder how late model laptops can be shipped, those without removable batteries' then overall...

SO are the rules equally applied to rc planes, gliders, helicopters, then what about kites and people relasing LTA ballons etc, and as one person mentioned elswhere, hang gliders, para gliders, etc? Are drones being victimised! Faling that with all the legislation being built in to DJI's seems...

Is it known what sort of 'drone's were being used? Altenative perspective, if I was flying a RC plane, glider or helicopter this would be OK - just not a 'drone'? And so it was the 'drones' that stopped the aircraft - - hmm or (depending on the drone) the 1kg bit of plastic as opposed to the...

That seems to be about it , unless any DJI gurus would like to explain what and how it can be used for? At least with a phone/tablet you can normally set things to default pictures, saved maps etc to SD rather device's own storage. It seem like DJI have forlorn / wasted such a useful approach...

A rather late reply - new to drone with a P4P+ and I'm beginning tho think that the controller+SD card are a bit of a waste of time because you don't seem to be able to use the Controllers SD card for anything, let alone sensible or useful things like holding maps, and local pics videos etc...

Note it helps greatly to clarify the difference between the i) SD card on the Drone (which holds the good quality videos and pictures) v.s. ii) the SD card / slot on the 'plus' Controller (with screen) which so far seems useless/redundant for holding any user data, e.g. pictures, videos etc...

Also as a newbie P4P+ owner user the area of controller photo video and SD card usage seems very poorly covered. It would make Total sense to be able to use the SD card to hold 'user data' i.e. locally (controller) held images and cache. Also to provide a sensible user data file management...

Hi 3rdof5, I have those all saved and still believe I've read them and cant find the answer, subsequently finding the "DJI GO 4 Manual: The Pilot’s Handbook", but also cannot find anything relevant in that :-( I'm beginning to wonder what he SD card slot is for on the RC any hints, guidance...
