Yeah hook it up to your computer and run the advanced calibration before you fly it. Enable IOC in the software. Also do the compass calibration at the field you fly at. Learn the home lock mode its a must with line of sight flying.
I ordered a T8J and need to know if the Phantom is connected to the stock receiver with the SBus cable? Just need to know so I can order a cable if there isn't one inside the Phantom already. Thanks
I really like the Tiny OSD on the phantom. The amount of info it gives is awesome. The voltage sensor is annoying sometimes but besides that I love it. Make sure to upgrade to the newest firmware and turn the summary info on.
FYI they no longer will send this to you for free. Still a pretty good deal @ about $10 shipping included. I asked the reason for the charge and it would appear too many people have requested the spring kit for free. Also, it's currently back ordered with no known date for it to be in stock.
