Add me to the list, I live in Utah and experience both the hook to the left at the end of straight flight and the toilet bowl effect when I go in to a hover. I did have a little confrontation with a tree when I first got mine in December and thought that was what was causing it. I hope you can...
I would just put the pv2 in a hover just in front of you and watch the battery meter or view the battery percentage with the app. You can then land it when the battery gets to the level you want. Storage of the battery should be around 50%. That's what I do to get down to the 8% for a full recharge.
And like someone said earlier, make sure you update the firmware on the transmitter also. If it doesn't have the micro usb port on the case you'll need to open her up and plug in on the circuit board.
let's hope you don't have any problems. I got mine at the first of the month when all the talk was about fly aways and they would drop out of the sky. So when dji released the updated firmware I didn't want to take my chances with a machine I just spend $1200 on. I've not had any issues with the...
I haven't done a firmware update with it but I have had it connected to the assist software and did the stick calibration with it and that worked fine.
You do want to calibrate the transmitter after the updates. Also, you are connecting to the right wifi connection. Mine was the same way, you can be sure you're hooking up to the right one by looking at the label on the back of the range extender. It is listed on their.
Just do the calibration...
How often are you recharging the battery on your range extender? The quick start guide mentions that you should charge it after each use. I would think that would shorten the life of the battery. How much battery life would there be remaining if I waited for the low battery life indicator to...
How close can you get to things like power lines, cell tower or buildings before you'll start to have problems with compass or GPS interference and possible disaster.
Question, just got my pv2 a few days ago and haven't flown yet. Everywhere i read and watch mentions you need to connect to the Wi-Fi phantom_1**** but all i see available is phantom_6****. That is the name on the wifi Extender Label and no other options show up on my phone.
