Try this. In the "DJI GO" app, check to be sure you are in "Photo" mode. Tap the settings button. There are two modes, "Auto" and "M" (for manual), be sure to slide the toggle to "M". You should then be able to change the shutter speed.
Works for me.
Thanks for the "test" video it was useful for me to get an idea of the low light capability of the P3 (I can't seem to find specs that give me that information). It looks like some improvement over what I am using now (P2 with GoPro Hero 3+ Black). If you have used my setup before, I would...
While everyone is on this subject, can someone tell me how the P3 compares to the GoPro Hero 3+ at night. It does seems to be better. The Hero 3+ is truly awful for night use. I use my Phantom 2 for surveillance mostly and would consider a P3 just for a significant increase in night...
I have wondered the same thing. So did we come to a conclusion??? Is it better practice to disconnect the gimbal or to just not be concerned? Is there any official word on this?
Thank you so much for the reply and very interesting advice. Sounds a lot more feasible now. The waterproof box trick sounds really interesting also. Thanks again for your help.

noiseboy72,
Thanks for the reply. I am currently setup in the second story living room area where I live. It has a high ceiling and I have placed my PC Ground Station's ground antenna high up on a piece of furniture. This gives it an altitude of about 23' above the place outside where I launch...
Hello isky172,
. Sure enough, when I deleted the test.awm and started the program again, it recreated the test.awm file.
. I personally have never had a fly away in the dozen or so times I have used PC Ground Station. I have had it act a little confused trying to hold it's place in windy...
Thanks again for the reply. Lets hope it had everything to do with the compass because of the aftermarket legs and not anything else... But that does beg the question, did you calibrate the compass after moving it? And or, was that the first time it was flown with Ground Station after...
Oh well, after doing some research of my own, it seems it is not feasible to use more than a few inches of cable with a 5.8 ghz signal because of signal loss.
Okay, I admit it may seem silly.
Considering an AVL58. Is it reasonable to run a cable from the receiver antenna to the receiver to increase antenna height? My particular application is stationary and the distances I need are only about 350 meters maximum to my Phantom 2. But there are some...
Thanks Ian for the reply. That is absolutely scary. By the way, do you have the last position on switch S1 set to "Failsafe" or to "Manual". Hope all checks out well for your Phantom. Thanks again.

I watched the video. Certainly everybody's worst nightmare. I have a couple of questions, if you would be so kind as to answer.
1. What mode were you in (Phantom 2 or Naza-M)?
2. How did you attempt to gain control again?
I have a Phantom 2 and use the PC Ground Station software. I have...
