Hi My husband gone to take the drone out today and it won't start up unless he switches beginners mode off? If this normal? He dosnt remember having to turn it off last time

hubby has took the drone out for the second time today, first time was great, today it won't connect to iPad, flashes yellow and says about firmware update? Didn't think you had to do the updates?

Wow thanks for all your suggestions, the Dow e at the back fits the iPad and screen guard in just great, he's cut some bits to fit the drone in as if gas the prop guard bits screwed into the ends but still hasn't room for the actual prop guards, he'll have to put them in his pocket, your so...

And the gimbal cover dosnt fit in if attached, only the one that came attached to it in the box

Hi guys I got the hard shell case you advised but I can't fit in the prop guards, screen hood or extra proplellers and the iPad Air, how do you manage to pack everything

Think I'll just ( well hubby as it's his) have a play with it first and see how it works, then maybe give the updates a go later down the line, just abit nervous of messing with firmware

Plugged in the remote to the app on my iPad, did the setup and calibration, says safe to fly but it says everything needs an update, remote, battery, etc , do I need to do this or can I still use it without? But worried as I've heard of them bricking if done wrong

hi, just opened the phantom 3 advanced and started to set it up, charged the remote fine but the battery after plugging into the charger has no flashing lights? If I put it in the drone and press the button it shows one light, so it's not fully charged, the spare one I bought has flashing lights...
