I got mine from Amazon. They are OEM. I feel that the Phantom is a bit more responsive with the new prop

Yes, you can delete it if you want. If you leave it in the root folder it wouldn't necessarily do anything wrong. However, since it's an update file the P3 would check the file upon starting and notice that it's the same firmware that is currently installed.

Thanks for your reply, although that wasn't the issue. Funny thing is that if I use an Android tab, the phantom works just fine. But for some reason it doesn't like Apple. Which is huge for me since that's all I use.
