Hi Medina this is the trick that I used. I had my pro3 in the closet for 2 years. I did check on my batteries during that time. When it came time to use it I had no video ,pictures or satellites just a blank screen. So what I did to make mine work was to sit down next to it and keep repeating...
Hey weanuts before doing or changing anything try this set your drone in an open area grab a chair leave the blades off put a fresh battery in if it's hot out wait till it gets cooler. Hook up phone to controller with cord.
Turn on controller and hopefully the phone notices the Dji app starting...
The easiest fix before u did all the other stuff is to SIMPLY keep turning the drone and controller off and on it might take 15 times also exit out of the app each time.
Step#1 plug in USB cord to phone from controller.
#2 turn on controller (dji app should automaticaly pop up)
#3 turn on drone...
This is what worked for me. DONT update anything just set your drone out in the open grab a chair sit down with your remote with cell phone plugged into it. Start the app turn on the drone if the app doesent recognize the drones turned on. Turn everything off and do it again and again and again...
Does anyone ever weigh there props? After reading the (weird marks on props thread). Which mine get them too sometimes. I cleaned them then decided to weigh them and my results are the black ones weighed 12.62 grams and the grey ones weighed 12.22 grams. I didn't do a search on this so excuse me...
That's what's got me worried if it's a bug! Can it take over controll of my aircraft while flying? Or is somebody spying??? It's only my recorded videos from my phantom pro 3 that the location is Boussemghoun Algeria. Maybe I should contact Dji?? Other than that I love my phantom 3 pro...
When I go to a video that I recorded in my phone from my phantom 3 pro. I open it then click on settings: then details and under location: Boussemghoun Algeria pops up.??? What's up with that I live in San Diego. Ca Usa. I don't know why that city pops up.
There's only three wires feeding the motor. The yellow one was the pinched wire. It broke as soon as I started messing with it. Its one solid wire to the motor in fact it goes straight into the motor as a winding.
Update when I went to replace the motor I tried to straighten the crimped wire and it broke right off. So now I'm thinking I should of NEVER DONE THAT TEST FLIGHT!!! Especially here my neighborhood. Would losing one leg of a motor result in a uncontrollable crash.
