Hi
I need a few more batteries for a shoot I'm doing in the Niagara, Ontario area.
Willing to pay $50 to borrow 2 batteries for 3 days.
I would need them by this Wednesday - September 12, 2018
or if anyone knows where I can buy some by Wednesday, that's good too.
I'm running firmware version...
I've been flying my drone for 3 years as a commercial photographer and never had anything but great flights and results.
Last month I was flying a mission for a real estate shoot and my drone, my fault, was too close to a tree and the wind moved it and i was in the tree before I knew it.
The...
Seems like bad planning to be out that far and only 25% battery left.
And now with the suntans you can go further without loosing signal, seems like a lost bird is in your future.
Sorry, just my opinion.
That's old stuff.
No need to do anything except make sure battery is 100% charged before flying.
I have done this for over a year now with no issues.

I just finished a project today, took a chance and updated both DJIGO and Litchi before I took off.
No issues with DJIGO.
Only used Orbit on Litchi but no issues
DJIGO - 3.1.5
Litchi - 1.15.6

If you fly commercially you gotta have liability insurance in Canada.
Right now for pleasure you don't need it but it looks like that might change this year.

My commercial insurance for 1mil liability is $700/yr. in Ontario.
Don't like that, looking for much better.
Apparently the pay as you fly insurance may come out here in Canada this year.

No license yet, coming soon
You need insurance.
You need to get the exemption for a UAV under 4kg (which all the Phantoms are) or file an SFOC for every flight (huge pain in the arse).
You also should take a UAV ground school course (you will need this when a license becomes necessary anyway)...
Just clean it up, maybe change the props and away you go.
WASH IT, that's the worst advice I've ever heard...my opinion.

Litchi has been rock solid for me, been using it since it came out.
You really have to read and understand the app documentation before you try it but there are lots of YouTube videos and support on this forum.
