Never transport ... a battery with power level higher than 30%

I'm not referring to regulations, I'm referring to DJI's document, "Phantom 4 Series", in the section "Intelligent Flight Battery Safety Guidelines" ... one of the foldout sections that come with a new Phantom.

Will you be switching from Phantom series to the new Mavic 2 series?

I could have switched because I just received my insurance claim for a crashed P4P, but nope, I have too much invested in Phantom 4 Pro batteries (9!)

Never transport ... a battery with power level higher than 30%

What is "transport" intended to mean in this text from the Intelligent Flight Battery Safety Guidelines mean: "Never transport a damaged battery or a battery with power level higher than 30%" Surely it does not mean "transport by car". And a similar warning in the Tavel Notice section of those...

    P4P Props on the V2?

I would like to hear the answers to the OP's question as well.

Prop reflection in video? Not sure, what do you think?

Wow, thanks finding the name! I see it frequently, and not just on wet grass.

Prop reflection in video? Not sure, what do you think?

The strobing happens as well for me. You can mitigate the strobing by doing 1) not flying directly into the sun, or if you do, tilt the camera down more, and 2) fly slower, since flying faster has the aircraft leaning forward more ... or both. Hope that yelps. I've seen the glare spot too...

Watch "P4 camera tilt" on YouTube

These are just my thoughts... I'm thinking that in gusty winds, as the aircraft tilt adjusts to keep itself in/on the current intended position/course, the gimble adjusts to try and stay and stay steady on it's intended view. I'm guessing that if a gust of wind suddenly ramps up or down, the...

Is there a way to input video to a laptop or tablet?

I have not done anything in this way, but there may actually an app or two that will let someone else watch on a separate device.

    Clipping video

Mine get split too, about 4GBytes apiece. I suspect this is due to file-size limitations, but I'm not sure. If this is the reason, I expect that you cannot change the limit on the file-size captured. Check your file sizes to see if they are all (except for the last one) the same size.

    FAA sued (again)

This popped up today. Like the earlier John Taylor lawsuit, this would seem to have effect for hobby fliers (non-107 fliers). Reichert v. FAA-(Drone Registration Class Action Lawsuit)

Are color profiles defined in the aircraft, or in the app?

I totally agree in general, but for the occasional casual items I share with colleagues and friends, doing post is low in my priorities.

Wherefore art thou Vivid color profile?

Thanks for that suggestion, I'll have neglected looking into using a LUT, but I surely need to start using one. Apart from that, though, it sure would be nice to have a more vivid color for quick casual videos that I don't do any post on.
