No, it's fair because your contribution to this thread was entirely irrelevant and wholly inaccurate to the topic at hand.
Anybody that knows anything about the phantom line knows the P3P needs an SD card to record images.
I for one would not trust a 'repair man' with such off-base info...
I trust you have your granddaughters permission on the air photography. She (or the groom) may now want/like that, and it could make guests uncomfortable (regardless of your intensions). This is all aside from the subject of flying over people.
And even with permissions. you don't want to be...
Thanks Jeffery, before dawn next time. Though that state, I got'a say, Utah could keep me busy for the rest of my life. There's so much to see, I don't know when I can get back to this location. I should just move down there so that the drive isn't so long.
Cheers, Chris
I finally went out to the Bentonite Hills back in October. Thanks to Jeffrey for the excellent location pointers. I did find the same location as the photo in the OP, but also shot a lot of others. I did not attempt to visit the Bentonite location closer to Capitol Reef park.

Thanks, but it will still be good to have some kind of app for remote use.
I can check before I leave Washington State, but it will be a few days before getting down into the hots spots in California and those can change daily, which means I will not only want to check once I get down there...

Cool. Yes, I think I found the general area. Thanks much!
Edit: and I found the exact spot the above was made. Now I have to avoid the area to keep my shots unique. ;-)
Very cool! I'm going to Utah soon (again--did the same last year) and already have Capitol Reef NP on my list.
So this area is the place about 1 mile past fording the Fremont River at Hartnet, just off of hwy 24? Or from the other direction?
I'll have my drone, but I'll be in a compact FWD...
Aside from the fact that he did this with a weapon in city limits, it's really akin to ripping an SLR camera out of your hands and smashing it to the ground. It's really no different than any destructive act on another's property.
And then posted here without saying which news source, or which congress member.
Manufactured outrage is on the rise because people are still tuning in and sponsors are still paying for it.
Nope. There's a lot of people that have nothing to hide, but hate drones anyway. The don't often have a good reason for that -- they just do. Some of them you can talk to about it, others you can't.
