Looked it up and there's no explanation for that flash sequence I can find. Usually after water crashes the battery is dead, but the drone is fine after drying. You can get new P4 batteries on eBay for around $150USD. Good luck. Water crashes suck :(

Does the SD card you are using have an adapter for a PC? If so, just take the card out of the drone, put it in the adapter, then put the adaptor into the PC. All of your video and photo files will be there

For ~$100 more you're getting a Phantom 3 Pro but with a ton of new features, and also better video quality in my opinion. I bought a P4 refurb from DJI for less than a P3P and it has been working great so far.

My recommendation is to download AirMap on your device. Not only does it have wind speed, but it comes with a bunch of 'layers' that you can switch on and off like No Fly Zones, airports, helipads, national parks, etc. and it will tell you if the area you have chosen is drone-friendly or not. I...

No side sensors. Just front. That would explain why it lacks a backwards track feature, but I would imagine that the 4A still has spotlight and profile modes...

Thinking about the P4A and the updates to the original P4 through DJI Go... basically soon enough the P4A will have to be an option in the go app. Looking at the website, DJI has the same 'added features' as the P4P did on its release. This includes ActivTrack modes, gesture mode, draw mode...

If you're willing to go a bit more loose on the budget, I suggest Final Cut Pro X. It is very intuitive and easy to use but still has professional editing features there for you to use as you get more advanced. Give the trial a shot if you have a mac :) Final Cut Pro X

Where were you flying? If you're taking off in an urban area with lots of interference, the range tends to go diwn.

So on April 23rd we will have the P4A and the Spark released. Exciting stuff..

I agree that it wasn't a prank by someone other than DJI themselves, but man... that is one big stuff-up.
